# Quest: [[Help Ismark with Irina's party]] ## Log In [[003_20260520 Session 3|Session 3]], the Gang met [[Ismark Kolyanovich|Ismark]] at the [[Blood of the Vine Tavern and Inn|Blood of the Vine]]. Without any prompting, Andi offered to help him set up the party he plans to host in honor of his sister's 20th birthday. But it turns out, he needs help with "everything." The party is scheduled in two days' time, the 8th of Dekavyr. In [[005_20260619 Session 5|Session 5]], the Gang received candlesticks of genuine silver from the Church of St. Bogdan's to borrow as party decorations. ### After Session 6, the Gang planned a birthday party that would require [[Irina Kolyanovich|Irina]] to be replaced with a **decoy**. As the party will be a costume party, with everyone competing to dress as elaborately as possible, the Gang hopes that [[Irina]]'s non-presence will remain a secret at least until the party is over. ![[Help Ismark with Irina's Party-1784151116553.webp]] #### **Prep** - [[Collum the Sad Flautist|Collum the Sad-No-More Flautist]] and his band should arrive half an hour early to set up in their **musicians' corner**. The **green room** will be stocked with plenty of food, drink, and other creature comforts to help the band play maintain a cheerful atmosphere. - **Irina's decoy** should arrive well before noon and be freshly washed in whatever soaps Irina typically uses. The servants should be warned not to launder any of Irina's clothes--especially undergarments--from the past day. The decoy may wear her own undergarments but should (gross, sorry) wear Irina's undergarments over them before dressing in suitable costume party attire. #### **As guests arrive** - Any female guests around Irina's age should be entered into a raffle. Three lucky winners will have - Guests will be encouraged to have their faces painted or masked for the contest later in the afternoon. ~~Vistani artists~~The Burgomaester will find local artists or members of the [[Patthana#skurra|skurra]]--not the local camp of [[Vistani]]--to paint faces. These disguises should be elaborate. - Guests should be greeted by servants offering libations but not h'ors d'ouevres. #### Smoke and Mirrors From here on, the goal is to keep everyone as actively engaged in contests as possible, *not* focused on [[Irina]]. The decoy should make short appearances, especially whenever a winner is announced, but otherwise remain with [[Kolyan]]. If Bildrath cannot be prevailed upon to provide enticing prizes, the [[Kolyan Kolyanovich|Burgomaester]] will put up a prize purse for each event. - At 2:00, the party would kick off with a hot-dog eating contest.
