# Quest: [[Learn Silver Fire]] Learn what **silver fire** is, determine whether [[Andraste Amo|Andi]] is capable of using it, and return to [[Mordenkainen]] on [[Balinok Mountains|Mount Baratok]]. ## Log In [[015_20260911 Session 15|Session 15]], the Gang encountered [[Mordenkainen]] through the shared dream created by [[Esmeralda the Conjurer]]. Mordenkainen was alive but severely weakened and mentally fragmented after his defeat by [[Strahd von Zarovich|Strahd]]. During the conversation, he recognized Andi as a sorcerer and seemed to recognize her resemblance to her mother. While struggling through fragmented memories, Mordenkainen spoke about someone of his **bloodline** being able to use his **silver fire**. He then told Andi: - she needed to learn **silver fire** - once she had learned it, she should come find him - he is currently on [[Mount Baratok]] and is too weak to leave The Gang does not yet know: - what silver fire actually is - how it is learned - whether it is unique to Mordenkainen's bloodline - whether [[Andraste Amo|Andi]] can use it - what role silver fire would play in restoring Mordenkainen's strength or continuing his plan against [[Strahd von Zarovich|Strahd]] ## Objective Discover the nature of **silver fire**, determine whether [[Andraste Amo|Andi]] can wield it, and return to [[Mordenkainen]] on [[Balinok Mountains|Mount Baratok]] once she can.
