# Quest: [[Seek Out the Revenants of Argynvostholt]] ### Status In [[014_20260904 Session 14|Session 14]], the Gang learned that revenants associated with [[Argynvostholt]] still patrol the roads near the ruined fortress. At least one such revenant was encountered by [[Novgor]], who recovered a small bell connected to the [[Order of the Silver Dragon]]. The quest is currently **open**. ## Goals The [[Order of the Silver Dragon]] was one of the few known groups to openly oppose [[Strahd von Zarovich|Strahd]], and some of its revenants still remain active centuries later. The Gang hopes that these revenants [[may still be willing to oppose Strahd and could potentially become **allies**]]. Even if they cannot be recruited, they may still know useful information about: - [[Strahd von Zarovich|Strahd]] and his weaknesses; - the fall of [[Argynvostholt]]; - the history and purpose of the [[Order of the Silver Dragon]]; - and what happened to [[Fall of Argynvostholt|Argynvost]]. ## Log The Gang learned that [[Argynvostholt]] was once the stronghold of the [[Order of the Silver Dragon]], whose members were defeated by Strahd centuries ago. Despite the fall of the fortress, revenants connected to the Order apparently remain active in the surrounding area. ### Objective Seek out the revenants near [[Argynvostholt]], determine whether they can be recruited as allies against Strahd, and learn what they know about the Order's history and its war with him.
